4 Phase, 150Hz - 4kHz PSU

To drive a miniature electrostatic conveyor for 10 micron charged particles we developed this 4 phase quadrature high voltage power supply. Peak output was 500V ac at frquencies between 150Hz and 4kHz. 8 bit sine wave samples stored in an EPROM were applied to four DACs. After filtering and amplification, step-up transformers generated the high voltage output.
