Industrial User Interface

With a full QWERTY keyboard and a 240 x 128 pixel backlit LCD panel, the user interface on this industrial controller required a comprehensive set of menus. Windows style adaptive drop down menus with accelerator keys and dialog boxes created a familiar look and feel. Among other functions the software enabled the entry of barcodes, text and graphics to create label designs for an industrial printer.

Written in C and assembler and running on a Motorola 68k processor, object oriented concepts from C++ were used to keep the code organised and easily maintained.
